Week of 7/17-7/23: Welcome Back Jesse!
Jesse will be back like normal starting Wednesday. We are all glad to have you back dude
Congratulations Lindsey Jones! It was cool to go corner him and watch him implement the advice between rounds and turn this losing streak upside down.
Also I sometimes do things for organizations and I thought it best to let you guys know some of the things the academy has donated to lately.
- Trey Johnsons sister was diagnosed with a terminal cancer I believe? and the school donated a chunk so she could take her family to Disney world as her wish before she gets too sick to do it.
- We sponsored an event called the poker float in macon. The money goes straight to the Alzheimers Association which is a very awesome organization and a cause that’s close to my heart.
- We will be doing something for Jesse and his fam coming up soon. Thank you to all of you who’ve asked how you can help and we will be announcing very soon.
- Making an impact by helping WRPD get a little closer to on point is a good service. Anyone wants to help let me know. The first squad we had last week, Squad 2, was really an awesome one. they all had great attitudes, which is a testament to their leadership.
Lastly for announcements, We have some blocks open for Tuesday Youth classes, Anyone wanting to volunteer some time in there is greatly appreciated. We can make it work no problem, but I’d like to keep Rex at the desk so he can deal with any questions from parents.
Stay tuned for Youth curriculums in the Morning along with WOM brief
BJJ: after some great positional training we are going to be getting into long step chain passing. the idea of the long step is lost and I’ve seen many ALMOST passes but due to inefficiency in the long step ppl are getting stuck in guard
