Week of 6/6-6/10
Hey guys, hope everyone is off to a good start to the summer
Word of the month: Immersion- to completely engulf oneself in an activity. Absorbing involvement
Let Summer be the time we Immerse ourself into our Jiu Jitsu. It’s often a time where we feel the need for a break, kids are out of school, no need to continue to work right? WRONG. This is the time to sharpen ones skills, and surprise all of those that slacked all summer. let’s get better, and for our adults lets focus and aid those that are testing in July.
We have Tyler and Andrew out this week. Next week Blue is gone M-W and I have pending days next week I’ll be out at the AF academy and Ft Carson to aid with the Master Instructor Course for Combatives.
Jesse has a fight agreed for the 28th of August. Let’s prepare hard, so the fight is easy.
After our Adult Fundamental JJ sessions we will have heavy drilling for the test material.
With that said, Let’s Segway out of that and begin by going over moves that are listed on the green and blue exam. It’s ok to be random. TD, Guard Pass, Sub. Sub, Sweep, Pass, just do anything and get the students involved.
