No Open Mat or Sparring this Saturday.
Tournament this weekend Saturday the 25th for NAGA!!! This week Scott Barton is also competing in the IBJJF Pan Ams in Orlando, FL. Good Luck to all competitors!
Jiu Jitsu: Comp Preparedness continued: Feel free to explore all positions or focus on a few. Regardless, a lot of positional sparring and regular all out rolling. Can do matches as well.

Surgery: I had two artificial Discs installed into my neck on Friday and was in the Academy that night observing and talking students through technique.  It was a success! I can’t be on the mats training for a while, but I was already n0t on the mats training…I expect by beginning of summer to be doing stuff again. Lifting VERY soon. If you have any ailments  that are haunting you, don’t neglect them to the point where you are debilitated. At least get some imaging to see the problem. If you ever need a NeuroSurgeon, Dr DeCastro, who was at the Marcelo Garcia seminar, is here to help.
